@Meursault1942 Geez…. are you that slow?
That’s the point. What did I tell you? Where did the Brit govt get those 2 billion viewers from? The countries interested in that show may have 200 million people at best (not even all of their citizens watched, certainly not more than 10-20%) . So you have to be really delusional and shameless to claim 2 billion viewers.

  4. Meursault1942 Says:

@FormerlyKnownAsNopez We don’t even have 7 billion people in the world, so what are you on about 20 billion?

  5. FormerlyKnownAsNopez Says:

@SpearMinti And it took you 2 weeks to come up with that, retard? What that “ignorance” refers to? Do you even understand what you read?

Wow …what a list of world powers. They together must have 20 billion people, so 2 billion viewers of the wedding is really possible.

  6. SpearMinti Says:

@FormerlyKnownAsNopez The Queen is Head of State of Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Jamaica, Barbados, the Bahamas, Grenada, Papua New Guinea, the Solomon Islands, Tuvalu, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Antigua and Barbuda, Belize, and Saint Kitts and Nevis. Ignorance.

@LoganBlackP I see your point, I was kind of eating up propaganda…….. and I suppose we have to agree to disagree about Fox ……. Now that I think about it, it was kind of pointless to post a comment like the one I put up………. Thanks for the reply, I’ll think twice next time before posting a comment.

Fed presser good looking out G.

  9. intrepidorator Says:

@givethemahand Im trying to help you understand, but this may be beyond your ability to comprehend. Quantatative easing is inflationary.. This means that there are more dollars in the economy chasing the same amount of goods and services.. Do you understand this??
What.. $ is where it was 2 years ago?? The fed has printed trillions more dollars, that is what is weakening the dollar. Wow, Im about to give up on you, you can’t understand even the most basic fundementals of the economy. wake up!

  10. givethemahand Says:

@intrepidorator ” biggest cause of high gas prices is quantitative easing policy of this administration.”
Why do you keep expressing opinion,as if it were fact? Most oil analysts say price is demand driven. Further, the Fed doesn’t take orders from Obama. And, even with expanded money supply, the $ is about where it was 2 yrs ago (though weaker than last yr). Price of crude is nowhere near its all time high. I feel like I’m debating against a set of political talking points.

  11. intrepidorator Says:

@givethemahand I see the point of the article, and while it is true that other forces effect gas prices. The biggest cause of high gas prices has been the quantatative easing policy of this administration. Supply and demand still has a major effect. When you couple a weaker dollar with less domestic drilling you see the results that we see. Remember, domestic drilling not only lowers prices, it provides jobs and reduces the power that foriegn countries have on our foriegn policy.

  12. givethemahand Says:

    @intrepidorator
Gas prices have little to do with US domestic production..interesting story about this at:

  13. givethemahand Says:

@intrepidorator “blame Bush for high $.. give him credit for low $ too,”
    I didn’t blame Bush.Purely partisan blame isn’t “intellectually honest”.
03/29/11 “Misleading statements on gas prices have become the currency of politicians lately. Republicans blame Obama’s moratorium on deepwater drilling. The moratorium delayed drilling of new wells, but did not affect wells already in production. A Wall Street oil analyst says the moratorium had “zero” effect on prices.”

  14. intrepidorator Says:

@givethemahand I wish you would.. but remember this.. demand now is the low, why isnt the price going down now.. I understand that Bush releasing some of the strategic petroleum reserves didn’t fix it overnight and wasn’t the only factor. But at least Bush did get gas prices down to 1>89 a gallon before he left office. If your going to blame Bush for the high prices during his term, you have to give him credit for the low prices too, its only intellectually honest.

  15. givethemahand Says:

@intrepidorator “under Obama.. Gas went up from $1.89 to $3.91 a gallon. When gas went up[ under Bush he got into the emergency reserve and lowered prices from $4.11 to $1.89.”

With all due respect…you are way wrong on that. Gas prices fell because demand fell (a result of a world wide recession). This information is widely available and is acknowledged even by most conservative economists and oil industry analysts. I can provide sources if you like.

  16. givethemahand Says:

    @intrepidorator
    S.3816 Title: Ending Offshoring Act
Sponsor: Sen Durbin, [IL] (9/21/2010) Cosponsors (8)
” The law now permits companies that close down American factories to take a tax deduction for the costs associated with moving jobs to China or India.
    Proposed Action: “Close loophole”.
Status: Cloture on the motion to proceed to the bill not invoked in Senate by Yea-Nay Vote. 53 – 45 (along party lines)

  17. intrepidorator Says:

@givethemahand Your not talking to one of your progressive friends, you need to put some facts into your comments in order for me to believe you. Your statements that tax incentives caused competitors to move to another country is foolish. For example, a chamber of commerce votin to give a company a tax incentive to move a plant to their town does not cause it to move to China.
Ask Obama if he wants higher revenues or higher taxes, because lower taxes increases revenue, not higher taxes.

  18. intrepidorator Says:

@givethemahand My personal experience under Obama.. Gas went up from $1.89 to $3.91 a gallon. When gas went up[ under Bush he got into the emergency reserve and lowered prices from $4.11 to $1.89. Obama is not doing anything to lower prices. In fact he is causing prices to go up. Quantatative easing 1 and 2 has devalued the dollar, excessive regulation on oil drilling is making it impossible to drill new wells. The promise of Obamacare is slowing hiring and preventing the recovery.

As a Londoner(south Londoner to be precise)born and bred I would like to make two points.Firstly Mr Beck obviously does not understand the unique role our Monarch plays in our government and that the Monarch’s existance is part of our fabric as a country.Yes some people here are against the monarchy but they are a minority -FACT!! Secondly that is quite possibly the worst cockney accent since Dick van Dyke said “gawd bless ya Mary Poppins”

  20. LoganBlackP Says:

@mambos87 I watch it because its informing, you dont watch it because somebody told that it was full of liars. So who’s really eating up propaganda?

  21. TheosAthanatos Says:

Glen Beck doesn’t respect the Royal Wedding for one reason: He doesn’t respect Christianity. The Royal Wedding was nothing more than the finest display of the Anglican Sacrament of Marriage. Glenn Beck, you are a snob!

  22. mambos87 Says:

lol – To the people who watch Fox News seriously “Why are you watching it? Why does it affect your life?….I hope you realise Fox News is just LOL entertainment.

  23. Shubael1809 Says:

If these two MORONS had any intelligence outside of their own myopic view of the world they’d realize that the word “commoner” mean ANYONE WHO IS NOT OF ROYAL BLOOD. A German immigrant and an Irish immigrant. Why am I not surprised?

  24. Shubael1809 Says:

This conversation is pure REVERSE snobbery. Nothing more… nothing less. What a couple of schlepps.

  25. acalow1989 Says:
